Sunday 18th July- 22nd July 2021

We stay for 4 nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast at The Kilbernie Hotel, situated overlooking Lusty Glaze Beach. The hotel has both indoor & outdoor swimming pools & evening entertainment. We stayed last October at this hotel, and the group requested were to visit again.

Sunday- We leave Nantwich early morning with various pick ups on route. On route we will have a comfort and breakfast stop at a services, before travelling on to Glastonbury where we have a 2 hour visit to this interesting town. Glastonbury is a town in Somerset, known for the great Glastonbury Music Festival. Lots of independent shops, cafes here, lots of cafes with outside seating areas .Also plenty of walks. We arrive at our hotel late afternoon.

Monday- This morning we join our coach to journey to Lands End. This end of England, we can see to the east , English Channel and to the west the Celtic Sea. Breathtaking views along the coastal path. Have your photo taken at the Signpost, . It reads John O”Groats 874 miles. There is a visitor centre here. From here we visit St Ives a lovely small seaside town, with a lovely harbour. Ideal to sit and enjoy a Cornish Pasty whilst watching the seals in the sea. Then around the corner is a beach, with there manysurfers. Then we join our coach for the journey back to the hotel.

Tuesday- Day at leisure in the resort, Have a walk to Fistral Beach, and watch the professionals surf. Climb up to the Atlantic Hotel and sit on the Balcony and watch the waves. Here is the Huer & Cry, A 14th Century building where the Heur shouted from to alert the fishermen of the fishes arrival in the waters below.

There are a lot of seaside shops here, also some very nice independent shops.

Wednesday- Today we visit Tintagel, famous for its castle. You have entrance to this castle via crossing the bridge onto the headland. This very dramatic scenery, has rugged cliffs, and many
coastal paths. The walk to the Castle is steep so sorry not accessible to people who have walking problems. Visit the local village , with the usual cafes & eateries. Time here for a spot of lunch should you wish. From here we travel to Padstow, A fishing port on the coast of Cornwall. Relaxing place for a stroll around, maybe a cream tea?. Or Rick Steins Fish & Chips. Maybe visit The National Lobster Hatchery, ( Lobster Nursery ) They are
minute! Back to Newquay for our last night.

Thursday- This morning we travel on our coach homeward. On route we visit Exeter, a lovely city with a Historic Quayside. Exeter Cathedral is in the centre, of the city. Of course the inevitable cafes, eateries, shops.
